Medication
Contrary
to what you may think, I believe there is a place for medication. It is
designed to save lives. It is designed to keep us out of horrible pain. It is
not, however, able to restore health or cure disease. It is fraught with disaster. Properly
prescribed medicine is the 3rd leading cause of death. The side effects of
medications frequently outweigh the benefits. 100,000 people died of heart
failure on drugs prescribed to treat joint pain. I’d rather have the joint
pain. I choose to avoid medication as much as possible by choosing a healthy
life-style. If you are on medication, you may be able to reduce your dose and
eventually eliminate it by addressing the underlying causes of why you were
placed on the medication in the first place. Understand that this is a process
between you and your medical doctor. I do not treat disease and I do not
interfere in your medical protocols. As you feel better, let your medical
doctor know of your desire to lower your dose or go off medications altogether.
