Phase 2: Corrective Care

Phase 2: Corrective Care Phase

Once your symptoms have been reduced, the body is now able to heal. The corrective phase of care is designed for maximum healing to occur. At this stage, visit frequency is often reduced.

You may be urged to supplement your care with exercises, dietary changes, or other self-care procedures. Without complete healing, discontinuing care now can set the stage for a relapse.

This phase of care is 12 weeks. At the end of this period we will re-evaluate your progress to determine your actual rate of recovery and what additional recommendations might be needed in order for you to obtain and/or maintain maximum health improvement.

For example: If you were to experience an improvement of 25% in your first twelve weeks – at that rate, we would anticipate that you might need an additional 36 weeks to obtain maximum health improvement. In this case we would recommend another 12-week corrective care phase followed by re-evaluation to determine your additional progress at that time

If you were to experience improvement of 50% during your first twelve weeks – then twelve more weeks may be needed for you to attain maximum health improvement at that rate.

If you were to experience an improvement of 75% it might be possible for you to obtain maximum health improvement in just 4 more weeks on the program before you are ready for maintenance.
